Jesus! (18): The Sermon on the Mount, part 2

The more I read and study this great sermon, the more convicted I feel and the more surprised I am at its popularity. It is a hard sermon. Jesus was not preaching against the Law of Moses, but preaching against the people's traditions, interpretations, application of the that Law. He is setting things straight.

Keep the context in mind as you learn that our hearts and minds are what Jesus is after, not simply certain actions. We will only truly appreciate Grace when we see ourselves as God sees us, sinfully sinful. And this teaching reminds us of how much we need Jesus.
